The Brattleboro Outing Club (BOC) offers a great opportunity to join and participate in affordable outdoor activities year-round. Check out our six beautifully maintained red clay tennis courts and rustic clubhouse; learn to row or, if you already know how, enjoy access to our dock and boats; join other canoers and kayakers on our scenic paddling trips; or cross-country ski (skate or classic) on miles of manicured trails. Most important of all, meet and have fun other outdoor enthusiasts.
BOC is one of the oldest civic outdoor sports associations in the country. Founded in 1922 by local sports enthusiast Fred Harris, its mission to “encourage, develop, and promote family outdoor life and good fellowship” has remained unchanged. BOC keeps fees affordable by relying on an active volunteer base.
