Events for the 2019-2020 season

**New Ski Hut and Member Planning Meeting, Sept. 3rd, 6:45 PM, Co-Op Mtg. Room

We are heading into an exciting time!

On August 21st, the local Development Review Board approved the site plan and local Act 250 permit for our new Ski Hut at the Brattleboro Country Club (BCC).  Bob Tortolani, Chris Wocell, Linda Bailey, Isaac Wagner, Joe Meyers, Victor Morrison, Jack Davidson, Bill Jahn and Melanie Boese, BCC owner, attended the meeting to support the project.

We have the building! We have the site!  Now the real work begins!  We need help from the BOC XC community, “anyone and everyone” to get us off the runway and into the air.

On Tuesday, September 3rd at 6:45PM in the Brattleboro Co-Op meeting room, the BOC XC Ski Committee will have an Open meeting to discuss and identify all the things that have happened and need to happen for the hut and the xc ski program prior to the start of the season. A strong, fun-focused working committee is needed, so please come and be a part of the next chapter in BOC XC Ski history.

Hope to see you there.  Please come.

**Hut Move-Out  Sunday, March 24th  12:00-3:00 PM **

We recently learned that our summer storage location for ski equipment and other hut contents is no longer available to us. If you have, or know of, dry, ground-level storage of approximately 100 square feet (preferably a barn, shed or garage) please let us know as soon as possible. This is an urgent request!

The Hut move out is scheduled for next Sunday, March 24th from 12-3 pm. We need to identify a location, volunteers to help with the move, and couple of members with trucks beforehand. If you can help with the move in any way, please reply to skiboc802@gmail.com

Thanks!
Joan Wesolowski, for the BOC XC Ski Committee
