To earn credits this winter, volunteers must be on a team roster, meet for a team training/scheduling session & find the time to pitch in a day’s effort over the course of the season. Your coach will communicate regularly via email about where and when you could help out.

Our volunteer trail crew works hard to prep the trails in the fall and groom them all winter to provide the best skiing possible. Our program volunteers share their love of winter and being outside with schoolchildren by teaching them to embrace winter in all its conditions and have a blast doing so.
When you come to ski and snowshoe our trails when the Hut is open, our friendly hut ambassadors serve both members and guests, and they keep the cocoa warm, too! It’s wise to call ahead to check our Hut status– the hours are as fickle as the weather.
Members who contribute at least a day of their time and energy to the club each year can claim a credit when they renew their winter membership by the December due date.
Winter ’13 volunteers: Renew your membership by December 15, 2013 to claim your credit.
As a BOC member, you are entitled to Skiing Privleges at most of Vermont’s best ski touring centers one time each year. So even when the snow is sparse here in the valley, you can still ski and snowshoe on groomed trails nearby and farther north at no additional cost. Simply flash your BOC Ski Hut pass.
