Open to junior players who would like to improve their tennis skills. Meets in May on Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30-4:30 pm.

MORNING YOUTH CAMP
Ages 8 to 14 (younger with director’s permission)
June 18 to August 3 (seven one-week morning sessions)
Morning Youth Camps are open to players of all levels from beginner through intermediate. The camps are designed to help encourage both physical and personal development of the campers through the acquisition of solid tennis skills taught in a combination of group and individual setting. Good sportsmanship, fun, and the development of general physical coordination skills lie at the core of the BOC tennis camp program.
Time: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 12 pm (drop off 8:45 am)

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT
Ages 13 to 17
June 18 to August 3 (seven one-week afternoon sessions)
Time: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 1:30 to 4 pm

JUNIOR INTENSIVE PROGRAM
Ages 13 -17
June 18 to August 3 (seven one-week all-day sessions)
The BOC is offering an opportunity for young players who wish to develop their tennis game, have fun, work hard, and make new friends in a new one week program that provides 25 to 30 hours of live ball drills, match play, technical and tactical review, physical conditioning, and psychological development. The program will run Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm with an hour lunch break at noon. Friday afternoons will be reserved for match play and may be scheduled at another location other than the BOC courts.
Time: Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 4 pm; Friday 9 am to noon

QUICK START PROGRAM
QuickStart 1 for children ages 5 to 7
QuickStart 2 for ages 8 to 10
Quickstart Tennis was developed by the USTA and is a proven format for learning the game of tennis with the playing field and equipment modified to reflect the age and skill development of the player. We use smaller courts and low compression and foam balls to get children playing tennis as soon as possible.
Quickstart 1
Ages 5 to 7: An introduction to the fun game of tennis. Plenty of games and exercises to develop coordination and basic racquet skills.
Session 1: Saturdays, May 19, 26 & June 9, 16 at 9-10 am
Session 2: Saturdays, June 30 & July 7, 14, 28 at 9 -10 am
Session 3: Saturdays, Aug. 4, 11, 18, 25 at 9-10 am
Session 4: Saturdays, Sept 8, 15, 22, 29 at 9 –10 am
Make-ups for Saturday classes due to weather and holidays will be held on the Saturday at the end of the session.
Quickstart 2
Ages 8 to 10: Fundamentals of strokes and the game will be introduced through the use of games, drills, and fun contests. Ground strokes, volleys, and beginning service motion will be covered.
Session 1: Saturdays, May 19, 26 & June 9, 16 at 10-11 am
Session 2: Saturdays, Sept 8, 15, 22, 29 at 10-11 am
Cost: $40 per 4 week session (4 classes in total)
