The Brattleboro Outing Club hosts approximately nine canoe and kayak outings from May to October. All paddles trips are FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and suitable for family canoeing and kayak touring (except occasional overnight trips). The club does not provide boats. Boat rentals are available locally at the Vermont Canoe Touring Center on Putney Rd. in Brattleboro, 254-5088 (discounts to BOC members), or at the Green Mountain Flagship Co. on Rt. 9 in Wilmington, 464-2975.
